About Us

History

We are a non-governmental organization established in 2020 and headquartered in Uganda.

The foundation is dedicated to empowering women and young girls by addressing critical issues such as education, financial

independence, and menstrual hygiene. UGF seeks to create a society where girls and women are equipped to lead meaningful and

sustainable lives while contributing to broader social and environmental change.

Vision

To foster a generation of empowered women and girls who thrive in education, financial stability, and personal dignity, thereby

transforming their communities and the world.

Mission

To empower girls and women by providing access to education, financial resources, and mentorship, while addressing pressing

challenges like climate change and hygiene inequity through innovative and sustainable approaches.

Objectives

‘To provide access to quality education for girls aged 6 to 12 by distributing essential school supplies and removing barriers to learning.’

‘To promote financial independence among women through training programs focused on technology and eco-friendly practices.’

‘To combat menstrual hygiene stigma and ensure access to hygiene products for underserved communities.’

‘To mentor women and girls, fostering leadership, personal development, and awareness of health and hygiene practices.’

‘To address climate change by integrating sustainable and environmentally friendly practices into all programs.’
